Android App v4.32.4 BETA — Release Notes

Dynamics Mobile for Android v4.32.4 BETA has been published to the Google Play Beta channel. This release is available only to users enrolled in the BETA programme.

Users on the standard Google Play track or those deploying the app outside Google Play are not affected by this release.

No additional steps are required after updating.

What's New

• Biometric authentication support — The platform now supports biometric commands (checkBiometricAuthStatus, showBiometricAuthPrompt), enabling partners and administrators to configure fingerprint or face unlock as part of app security workflows.
• Binary file management command — A new internal command for handling binary files gives developers greater flexibility when building document and media workflows.
• Improved PDF generation — PDF file output during print preview using the Android Print API has been significantly improved, resulting in cleaner, more reliable documents.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue with enabling native barcode scanning in the system app.
• Fixed an edge case in normaliseFilePath command handling.
• Various security-related improvements across the app.
